Keynote Speaker: Ulf Brandes, Berlin.

Every leader is facing the reality that the pandemic has heightened the complexity of o-days environmental with social and political challenges that demand unprecedented cross-sectoral collaboration, and significant mindset shifts — as well as adequate leadership and organizational structures. However, we cant have social cohesion, resilience, and innovation without emotional skills and connectivity which is the basis for the emergence of a need for Conscious Leadership.

So, more than ever, this complexity calls for our humanity, empathy, intuition, and emotional and spiritual awareness. Yet, most of our organizations — governments in particular — still shy away from such “soft skills“ and continue to seek salvation in traditional “hard skills“ such as technology, Legal jurisdiction, and Financial considerations . Arguably, for many, the necessary mindset shift just seems too hard.

Workshop Content

How can leadership influence mindsets? The reality is: To achieve outer transformation, we need inner transformation. But for many leaders, this is barely charted territory.

So, lets examine what drives our behaviours below the surface of organizational development, and tap into the potentials of emotional awareness — reflecting what assumptions, structures, and leadership habits drive an organisation’s capacity to innovate and transform” e.g. in order to seriously address environmental issues. Theres an abundance of initiatives we can do to productively deepen our modes of organisational development and leave Victorian-age thinking behind.
